NBR wants to give importance to domestic industry in budget

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) wants to give importance to local industries in the budget to strengthen the domestic economy. NBR chairman Abu Hena Mohammad said he was working on which sectors would help increase local production and reduce dependency. Rahmatul Munim.
He was speaking at a pre-budget discussion meeting with the Economic Reporters Forum (ERF), an organization of economic journalists, on Thursday. He said he would like to help local industries in production. I am seeing that if assistance is given in any place, the domestic economy will be dynamic and the production of different products will increase.He also highlighted some of the steps taken by the NBR to increase revenue collection. The NBR is partnering with other government and non-government organizations to bring people, especially those with taxable income, but out of the tax net, under the tax, he said.
