5 Bangladeshis killed in road accident in Oman

Five expatriate Bangladeshis have died in a tragic road accident in Oman. Several others were injured in the incident. They are all residents of Chittagong, Bangladesh. The condition of two of the injured is critical.
The accident happened on Saturday (February 13th) at around 4am local time on a road in the country’s Dukum.
The dead in the accident are- Md. Omar Farooq, Minhaj, Mamun, Milad and Rubel. All of them are said to be residents of Sandwip upazila of Chittagong.
According to the victim’s family and expatriate sources, they lost control of their vehicle on their way back from fishing in the Arabian Sea. A total of 10 expatriate Bangladeshis were in the car.
Five of them died. The other five are being treated at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The condition of two of them is said to be critical.
