Despite the stagnation in global trade in 2020 due to the Corona epidemic, Walton reported relief in Bangladesh’s export sector and economy. Bangladeshi electronics giant Walton has made a significant contribution to the national economy and export earnings by exporting 10 times more televisions in 2020 than in 2019.
On this occasion, a program titled ‘Highest Television Export in 2020’ was organized at Walton Corporate Office in the capital on Thursday (January 14). Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi joined as the chief guest through virtual.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi said, “Our goal is to export 48 billion dollars worth of goods by 2021.” Walton is playing an important role in achieving that goal. I am very happy that we are becoming a giant in the field of television exports. Walton is doing an excellent job in all fields of electronics, not just television.
