The Sundarbans is being opened for tourists

After a long seven-month shutdown due to the epidemic coronavirus situation, the ban on tourists entering the World Heritage Sundarbans is finally being lifted. The ministry is expected to give final approval on Tuesday (October 26). If approved, tourists will be able to enter the Sundarbans from November 1.
In this regard, Deputy Minister of Forest and Climate Change Habibun Nahar MP said, “The ban on tourists entering the Sundarbans is being lifted. With the approval of the ministry on Tuesday, tourists will be able to visit the Sundarbans from November 1. In that case no one can carry more than 50 tourists. And the tour operators have to follow all the disciplines of the government including complying with the hygiene rules during the coronation period. ‘
