Barrister Rafiq-ul Haq laid to rest at Banani cemetery

Former Attorney General and lawyer Barrister Rafiq-ul Haq has been laid to rest at Banani Cemetery. Saturday (October 24) at 3 pm wife. She was buried next to Farida Haque’s grave.

The veteran lawyer died at Ad-Din Hospital in the capital’s Moghbazar around 8:30 am.

The first janaza of Rafiq-ul-Haq was held at Ad-Din Hospital around 10:30 am. After that the second janaza was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque after Johar. His third janaza was performed at the Supreme Court premises at 2 pm.

Rafiq-ul-Haq was undergoing treatment at Ad-Din Hospital due to various age-related problems.

The former Attorney General played a key role as a lawyer during the military-controlled caretaker government. Barrister Rafiq was also involved in various social activities.
