Tk 3 thousand crore new incentives for farmers

Central bank has set up a Tk 3,000 crore refinancing scheme for the agricultural sector to address the financial crisis caused by the epidemic coronavirus. Farmers will be able to take loans from this fund at easy interest rate of 4 percent.

On Tuesday (September 14), the Agricultural Credit Division of Bangladesh Bank sent instructions to the chief executives of all the banks on the policy formulation and management of the scheme.
