Popular life Approved 40% dividend for shareholders

A listed insurance company Popular Life Insurance Limited’s 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) has been held. The virtual meeting on Tuesday (August 24th) unanimously approved 40 percent cash dividend for shareholders for 2020.

Company’s board Chairman Md. Motahar Hossain presided over it.

Director of the company Hasan Ahmed, Engineer MA Taher, Begum Nurjahan Ahmed, Kabir Ahmed, Begum Farzana Jahan Ahmed, Mohammad Amir Hossain Chowdhury and Mohammad Zahirul Islam Chowdhury, Independent Directors Mohammad Abu Kawsar, Mohammad Habibul Bahar and Mohammad Atiq Akbar, Managing Director of the company. And CEO BM Yusuf Ali were present. Company Secretary Mostafa Helal Kabir conducted the meeting.
