800 cows arrived in Dhaka on Cattle Special Train

On the occasion of the upcoming holy Eid-ul-Azha, 800 cows have been brought to Dhaka by a ‘Cattle Special Train’ launched to transport sacrificial animals.

The cows were brought on a ‘Cattle Special Train’ operated on different routes on Sunday.

Bangladesh Railways has launched this ‘Cattle Special Train’ service for transporting animals from different parts of the country to facilitate the transportation of sacrificial animals.

According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Railways, 97 cows in 9 wagons from Chapainawabganj and Rajshahi reached Kamalapur railway station around 8 am on Sunday. The income from the rent of Tk 68 thousand 380 . Another special train with 80 cows from Chapainawabganj is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Sunday.
