The FBCCI, the country’s top business body, has constructed a multi-storey building at Hatkhola in Old Dhaka without approving the design. That is why the organization has not been able to use the building for a long time.

The new FBCCI logo and renovated Motijheel Federation building (new name FBCCI icon) was inaugurated on Wednesday (May 5th).

Salman F Rahman, Private Industry and Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister, inaugurated the newly renovated FBCCI Icon Building online. Former presidents of the organization Mahbubur Rahman, Mir Nasir Hossain, AK Azad, Abdul Matlub Ahmad, Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin and others were connected online at the time.

Sheikh Fazle Fahim, president of the organization at the time, said, “The Hatkhola building has been lying dormant for three years. Because, the design of the building was not passed. We have recently passed the design. ”He added that the ownership of the Motijheel building is not yet in the name of the FBCCI. The process of taking ownership has begun. He hopes that the work will be done soon.
