ECNEC approves 10 projects at a cost of Taka 11901 crore

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has approved 10 projects at a cost of around Tk 11,901.33 crore. Of this, the government will provide Tk 8,991.44 crore from revenue, borrow Rs 99.91 crore from abroad and the company will provide its own financing of Tk 809.98 crore.

The projects were approved at the ECNEC meeting on Tuesday (May 4th). ECNEC Chairperson and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting by joining the NEC conference room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar via video conference from Ganobhaban. Concerned ministers and secretaries were present in the NEC conference room. After the meeting, Planning Minister MA Mannan gave details at a press conference.
