Tk 345 crore revenue deficit in Bhomra land Port

In the first nine months of the current 2020-2021 financial year, the revenue of Bhomra land port of Satkhira has been 640 crore 83 lakh taka. As a result, the total revenue target for the current financial year has been reduced to Tk 345.04 crore. However, compared to the first nine months of the 2019-20 fiscal year, the current fiscal year 2020-21 has earned 61 crore 47 lakh taka more.

According to the port officials, the reason for the increase in the revenue deficit is that the revenue deficit has been increasing due to the poor business of the port due to the corona.
