In this case, the election management board has requested everyone to wear a mask. There are 1853 voters in Dhaka region and 461 voters in Chittagong region. Voting will be held from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
According to a source in the Election Board, journalists will be allowed to enter tomorrow’s election in accordance with the Corona Protocol. At the same time separate booths will be set up for journalists and the board will update every hour.
Everyone has been asked to go after the mask. The board also requested the voters to go to the polls at the scheduled time in compliance with the hygiene rules and also not to gather the supporters of the candidates unnecessarily.
Earlier, there was some hesitation in the election as the situation in Corona was getting worse. The Election Board met with the leaders of the two contesting panels on Thursday evening to take a decision in this regard. Both sides voted in favor of holding the elections at the pre-determined time.
