China agreed to import Bangladesh’s crabs again

Due to the epidemic coronavirus, it affected the world trade as well as Bangladesh. Due to this, in October last year, the export of crabs from Bangladesh to the East Asian country China was stopped. Since there is not much demand for these in the country, so is the business called collapse.

In line with the process of allowing the export of edible aquatic products to China’s vast market, China agreed in principle with the relevant inspections and separate measures taken by Bangladesh through a diplomatic note on 22 March, as a result of long communication and joint efforts of concerned ministries and departments.

He also requested the Ministry of China to respond to the draft protocol on segregation and health requirements for edible aquatic animals provided by the GACC.

As a result, on March 24, the GACC updated the list of imports of edible aquatic products by adding Bangladeshi crabs to the couch on their website. As a result, on March 30, the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) published on its website a list of Bangladeshi companies exporting edible aquatic animals from Bangladesh.
