Today holy Shab-e-Barat

Holy Shab-e-Barat will be celebrated on Monday (March 29) day and night with due religious dignity. On this occasion, Waz mahfil, prayers and munajat will be held in different mosques and madrasas of the country including Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.

Muslims observe the night of the 14th day of the month of Shaban in the Hijri year as a night of good fortune. On this glorious night, Allah Ta’ala opens the door of His infinite mercy for His servants.

On this glorious night, devout Muslims will be engrossed in more and more supererogatory prayers, recitation of the Qur’an, and remembrance in the hope of gaining the grace of the Most Merciful. Many people fast and give alms. Muslims will pray for forgiveness for past sins and for the welfare of the future life.
