BSEC appointed observer in Alhaj Textile

The regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has appointed observers for the overall supervision of Alhaj Textile Mills in the textile sector. At the same time, three independent directors have been appointed in the company. This is the first time in the history of the capital market that BSEC has appointed an observer in any company. This initiative has been taken to protect the interests of investors.

According to BSEC sources, the company’s executive director has been appointed as an observer. Saifur Rahman, former Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. Shafiqul Islam and a senior official of DSE will be present. However, it is learned that the managing director of DSE will be here.
