Don’t use mask unnecessarily: PM

Terming the purchase of face masks in a large number as madness, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today said it is not necessary to use a mask without any reason.

The premier made the comment amid a rush for purchasing health-related products including mask, and hand sanitiser in the wake of the confirmation of the first coronavirus cases in the country.

While addressing a meeting in her official residence Gano Bhaban, the premier also urged the people to maintain cleanliness to keep themselves away from getting infected with the coronavirus.
