Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Saber Hossain Chowdhury said that the government is helping every family in the country to stand on its own feet. Provision is being made so that every citizen can earn a living with due rights and dignity. Training in freelancing is being imparted to the youth to make them self-reliant. It is contributing to the creation of self-employment. The government should make this program successful.
The environment minister said these things while inaugurating the program organized with the overall cooperation of the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology with the aim of creating self-employment for the unemployed youth living in Khilgaon, Sabujbagh, Mugda Police Station under Dhaka-9 Constituency on Thursday at the Sabuj Bagh Buddhist Temple Auditorium with the slogan 'Get freelancing training, build your own future'.
The Environment Minister also said that under this training program, 75 people from three Thana of Dhaka 9 constituencies will be trained first. Laptops will be provided to successful finishers. However, 10 youths have to be trained after adopting laptops. The minister said that 1,000 youths will be given three-month training in freelancing by turns . The training will include subjects like digital marketing and graphics design. He said, Dhaka-9 will be ahead in all fields. The Ministry of Environment will also be made the number 1 ministry.
Director General of Information and Communication Technology Department Md. Mostafa Kamal, Ward No. 5 Councilor Chitta Ranjan Das, CEO of Nakarek IT Freelancer Subir Nakarek and others were present in the opening ceremony held under the chairmanship of Information and Communication Technology Division Secretary Md. Samsul Arefin.
