The Board of Directors of Deshbandhu Polymer Limited, listed in the capital market engineering sector, has decided to hold a special general meeting (EGM) on digital platform on January 30, 2024 at 12 noon.

It is reported that Deshbandhu Sugar Mills Limited, Deshbandhu Food and Beverage Limited and Deshbandhu Packaging Limited will merge with Deshbandhu Polymer Limited. For this reason, the company will take the consent of the shareholders and Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC).

At the same time, the company has decided to increase the authorized capital from Tk 300 crore to Tk 1,100 crore.
