A total of Tk 22 crore 78 lakh 10 thousand shares of 61 companies were traded in the block market of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Thursday, the last working day of the week.

It is known that in the block market the most shares of Power Grid Tk 3 crore 11 lakh 74 thousand, Alif Industries Tk 2 crore 40 lakh 27 thousand and Sonali Paper Tk 1 crore 68 lakh 45 thousand were traded in the second place.

On the other hand, among the other companies that participated in the important transactions of the block market – Reneta 1 crore 54 lakh 49 thousand, Union Insurance 1 crore 80 lakh 40 thousand, Emerald Oil 1 crore 19 lakh 52 thousand, Apex Footwear 1 crore 3 lakh 36 thousand, Fine Foods 90 36 lakh, Lafarge Holcim Bangladesh 72 lakh 25 thousand, Rupali Life Insurance 58 lakh 50 thousand and Hamid Fabrics Limited 56 lakh 85 thousand shares were traded.
