Agricultural Entrepreneurs Will Get Loans in Short Time Against Easy Terms and Low Interest

“Collaboration Agreement Signing between Bangladesh Finance and WeGrow Technologies”

Bangladesh Finance has taken the initiative of impact financing through sustainable agriculture loan. A collaboration agreement has been signed between Bangladesh Finance and WeGro Technologies Limited for the purpose of financial inclusion of marginal agricultural entrepreneurs. Through this agreement, the two organizations will ensure cooperation in various ways including providing loans to small agricultural entrepreneurs on easy terms and supplying and selling their products at fair prices.

The collaboration agreement was signed at the head office of Bangladesh Finance at Dilkusha, Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon (August 23, 2023). As a benefit of the agreement, Bangladesh Finance will provide loans for various tenures to agricultural entrepreneurs registered on the platform of WeGro Technologies. The two institutions want to implement the government’s SDG by reaching the desired goals by using technology with the link between financial institutions and agricultural entrepreneurs.

Md. Kyser Hamid, Managing Director and CEO of the organization signed the agreement on behalf of Bangladesh Finance. He said about the purpose of the agreement, Bangladesh Finance has been recognized as the top sustainable financial institution of Bangladesh Bank! To bring entrepreneurs from remote areas under the financial inclusion was one of the main tasks for this prestigious recognition. All such agreements will continue the consistency of financial inclusion of Bangladesh Finance.

Md Mahmudur Rahman, Founder and CEO of the company, signed the agreement on behalf of “Wegro Technologies”. Agricultural entrepreneurs in the remote areas of the country do not get money and the fair price of their products; As a result of this loan, agricultural entrepreneurs can reduce those problems, Mr. Mahmudur said on this regard.

The Head of Sustainable Finance of Bangladesh Finance M. Kohinoor Hossain, Group CFO Md. Sajjadur Rahman Bhuiyan, Head of Operations Md. Rafiqul Amin, Chief Risk Officer Suman Kumar Kundu and other higher officials were present on this event.
