Fareast Finance will not pay dividends

The board of directors of Fareast Finance and Investment Limited, a financial sector listed in the capital market, has decided not to pay dividends to the shareholders after reviewing the financial report for the financial year ended 31 December 2022.

It is known that after reviewing the financial report of the last year, the consolidated loss per share of the company was Tk 14.06. As on December 31, 2022, the company’s consolidated assets per share (NAV) stood at Tk 38.50.

The annual general meeting (AGM) of the company will be held on September 27 to approve the decision not to pay the dividend by consensus of the shareholders. The record date in this regard has been fixed on September 10.
