A total of Tk 164 crore 66 lakh 81 thousand shares of 81 companies were traded in the block market of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Sunday, the first working day of the week.

It is known that in the block market the most shares of Renata Ltd. 58 crore 41 lakh 65 thousand, second place Unilever Consumer Tk 54 crore 45 lakh 68 thousand and third place Rupali Life Insurance Tk 8 crore 73 lakh 31 thousand were traded.

Besides, among the other companies that participated in important block market transactions, Grameenphone Tk  4 crore 9 thousand, Anwar Galvanizing Tk 2 crore 97 lakh 58 thousand, Beximco Tk 2 crore 91 lakh 20 thousand, Associated Oxygen Tk 2 crore 88 lakh 42 thousand, BD Finance 2 crore 46 lakh 96 Thousand, 2 crore 33 lakh 95 lakh 90 thousand shares of BRAC Bank and 2 crore 12 lakh 48 thousand shares of Salvo Chemical were traded.
