Expatriates Now Receiving Land Services from Abroad

Expatriate Bangladeshis are now availing of four types of land services from abroad. These land services include citizen land service 24/7 (customer care), the certified copy of the Record of Rights/Mutated ROR (Khatiyan), the certified copy of the Mouza map, and payment of land development tax.

Expatriates can obtain answers to land-related queries or lodge various complaints by calling the ‘Land Service Hotline 16122’s long-code +880 9612-316122 from abroad at any time of 24 hours and by sending a message or comment to www.facebook.com/land.gov.bd.

Besides Bangladesh postal department are delivering the certified copy of the Record of Rights/Mutated ROR (Khatiyan) and certified copy of the Mouza map to the expatriate’s respective addresses abroad if anyone calls the aforementioned number or applies through www.land.gov.bd Smart Land Service Portal. Similarly, expatriates are paying land development tax from abroad by calling or registering on the portal.

Gradually, the expatriates will be brought under the coverage of some other land services, one of which is the facility to complete the mutation process and participate in the hearing of miscellaneous cases online.
