Agrani Insurance declares dividend

The board of directors of capital market listed insurance sector company Agrani Insurance Company Limited has declared 15 percent dividend to the shareholders. Out of this 8 percent is cash and 7 percent stock.

This decision was taken after reviewing the financial report for the fiscal year ended on Wednesday (May 10) 31 December 2022.

According to the company sources, according to the financial report of the completed financial year, the earnings per share (EPS) of the company was Tk 1.99. Earnings per share (EPS) was Tk 1.68 in the corresponding period last fiscal.

Besides, the company’s assets per share (NAVPS) at the end of December 31, 2022 stood at Tk 20.17 .

The company will hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on July 12 to approve this dividend. The record date for this has been fixed on May 31.
