Shahjalal Islami Bank declares dividend

The board of directors of capital market listed banking sector company Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited has declared 15 percent dividend for shareholders. Of this, 12 percent is cash and 3 percent is stock dividend.

This decision was taken after reviewing the financial report for the fiscal year ended on Wednesday (April 5) 31 December 2022.

According to the company sources, according to the financial report of the completed fiscal year, the consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of the company was Tk 3.31. Consolidated earnings per share (EPS) in the same period last fiscal was Tk 2.40.

Besides, the consolidated assets per share (NAVPS) of the company at the end of December 31, 2022 stood at Tk 20.32.

The company will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 24 to approve this dividend. The record date for this has been fixed on April 27.
