Uttara Bank declares 28 percent dividend

The board of directors of capital market listed banking sector company Uttara Bank Limited has declared 28 percent dividend to shareholders. Out of this 14 percent is cash and 14 percent stock dividend.

This decision was taken after reviewing the financial report for the fiscal year ended on Monday (April 3) 31 December 2022.

According to the company sources, as per the financial report of the completed financial year, the consolidated earnings per share (EPS) of the company was Tk 4.20. Consolidated earnings per share (EPS) in the corresponding period last fiscal was Tk 3.45.

Besides, the consolidated assets per share (NAVPS) of the company at the end of 31 December 2022 stood at Tk 31.79.

The company will hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on May 18 to approve this dividend. The record date for this has been fixed on April 26.
