Investment limits of mutual funds increased in capital market

The regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has decided to increase the investment limit of mutual funds in the capital market.

This decision was taken in the 862nd meeting of the commission on Thursday (March 30). BSEC Chairman Professor Shibli presided over the Rubaiyat-ul-Islam meeting.

After the meeting, Executive Director and Spokesperson of BSEC Mohammad Rezaul Karim said that the commission has re-determined the investment limit of mutual funds in the capital market in today’s meeting. It has been decided to increase the current limit from sixty percent (60%) to eighty percent (80%).
