Unique hotel at the top of trades

On Monday, the first working day of the week, shares and units of 283 companies were exchanged in Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the main stock market of the country. Out of this, Unique Hotel and Resort plc has the highest number of shares traded. This information is known from DSE sources.

According to sources, 58 lakh 27 thousand 5 shares of Unique Hotel were exchanged in DSE on Monday (March 27). The financial value of these shares is Tk 41 crore 52 lakh. The company topped the DSE today with the highest number of shares traded.

Shares worth Tk 27.5 million were exchanged in the second place in the top list of transactions. And the shares of Sea Pearl Beach Resort, which is on the third place in the list, were traded for Tk 17 crore 75 lakh.

Other top gainers in DSE trading on Monday were Bangladesh Shipping Corporation, Orion Pharma, Rupali Life Insurance, Genex Infosys, ADN Telecom, Shinepukur Ceramics and Rangpur Dairy (RD Food).
