Bangladesh General Insurance ranks topped of raising prices

On Wednesday the fourth working day of the week, the share prices of 68 companies rose on the country’s main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). Bangladesh General Insurance Limited has the highest price increase on this day.

According to sources, on Wednesday (March 02), the share price of Bangladesh General Insurance increased by Tk 4.90 or 10 percent compared to the previous day.

Dhaka Insurance Limited ranks second in the top list of rate hikes. On this day, the company’s share price increased by 8.86 percent. Alhaj Textile Mills Limited is on the third place in the top list with 7.67 percent increase in share price.

Other companies on the top list of rate hikers are Tasrifa Industries, Pragati Life Insurance, MB Pharmaceuticals, Amara Technologies, Libra Infusion, Central Insurance and Karnaphuli Insurance Company Limited.
