In protest of Mumbai terror attack in 2008 through street drama, a group of the country's theatre artists have expressed their hatred towards Pakistan, the abettor of the 2008 Mumbai terror attack.

In the Friday evening, they staged the street drama ‘Militant Attack’ in Bashundhara City Shopping Complex on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of terror attack in Mumbai.

Organized by Open Dialogue Bangladesh [OPD] and performed by Samad Bhuiyan and his team, the street drama highlighted the horror acts of Pakistan's militants that took place on November 26, 2008. The famous Bollywood city Mumbai was bloodied at that day. 164 people were killed and more than 300 people were injured in that attack. The whole world was trembled on that day by the terror attack known as 26/11.

In the street drama, the artists exposed how 10 militants infiltrated Mumbai of India crossing the Arabian Sea from Pakistan and attacked and fired indiscriminately at important places in the city including 10 cafes, Taj Hotel, bus terminus, hotels and hospitals.

Umme Salma Shimu, Sadia Islam Anannya, Sumi Akhter, Lamia Akhter, Smriti Akhter, Nabil Mahmud Sabbir, Sajjad Masud Soumya, Ariful Islam, Shahriar Shuvo, Tahfimul Islam Apu and Yahya Bin Joy performed in the drama.

At the beginning of the street drama, awareness music was performed in protest of militant attacks in the subcontinent. The drama was written and directed by Samad Bhuiyan. He said that drama is not only for entertainment but also a tool of protest. Today's drama prove it again.
