Sri Lanka’s income from tea export increased by 8100 crore rupees

In the first 4 months of this year Sri Lanka’s income from the tea export sector rose to 1,100 crore Sri Lankan rupees. The country’s administration said the increase was due to increased use of organic fertilizers and recognition of its acceptance in the international arena. On Thursday In an interview with Sri Lankan media Dynamin7, Ajit Nivard said the foreign exchange earnings in the tea export sector have increased by 1,600 crore rupees in the same period this year as compared to the first four months of 2019.
