After increasing the prices of gold in Bangladesh, there was a big fall in the price of gold in the world market last week. On Monday (September 6), the first working day of last week, the prices of gold per ounce was 1,826 before dollars the start of trading in the world market. And at the end of the week it was reduced to 1 thousand 788 dollars. As a result, the prices of gold per ounce has decreased by 38 or 2.11 percent during the week.
Dilip Kumar Agarwala, general secretary of the Bangladesh Jewelers' Association, said, "We have not taken any decision to re-fix the price of gold." So at present the prices in the country's market are not being increased or decreased.
