11% copper production increased in Peru

Peru has seen a surge in copper production. In the first seven months of this year, the production of the practical metal has increased by 10.9 percent. However, last July, the production decreased by 4.3 percent. The country’s Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources said the information.

According to the ministry, production was down in January and July alone in the first seven months of this year. The remaining five months saw a steady increase in production. Peru’s copper production fell 7.6 percent in January.
