Tk 41 crore revenue deficit in Bhomra in two months

In the first two months ot current fiscal year 2021-22 has revenue deficit of over Tk 41 crore in Bhomra land port in Satkhira. However, more revenue of Tk 1.2 crore has been collected at this time of the current year as compared to the first two months of the last financial year.

Bhomra customs station senior revenue officer Akbar Ali said, the revenue collection target for the first two months (July and August) of the current financial year was set at Tk 143.75 crore. With this goal in mind, the revenue collection in the last two months has been Tk 102 crore 15 lakh. As a result, the revenue deficit stands at Tk 41.60 crore against the target.
