For growth and development of country’s ready-made garment sector International Monetary Fund (IMF) has expressed interest to work. The agency's Resident Representative (Asia and Pacific Division) Zendu de BGMEA expressed this interest in a courtesy call on President Faruk Hassan.

On (August 29) The meeting was held at the BGMEA office in the capital's Gulshan. During this time, issues related to ready-made garments were discussed.

At the meeting BGMEA vice-president Shahidullah Azim, vice-president Miran Ali and director. Mohiuddin Rubel was present.
