Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has announced the introduction of Shariah-compliant dual currency - MasterCard Titanium and Gold Debit, World and Gold Credit and Prepaid Cards in the country. With these dual currency cards with contactless features, cardholders will be able to transact more easily both domestically and internationally.

Planning Minister MA Mannan, MP was present as the chief guest at the virtual opening ceremony on Sunday (August 22) at noon. Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Ahmed Jamal and Chairman of Central Shariah Board of Islamic Banks in Bangladesh Prof. Dr. Mohammad Gias Uddin Talukder.
