Taliban blocked product supplies to India

Ajay Sahai, director general of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations, said the Taliban had blocked road trade and blocked transit routes for Pakistani-bound goods into Pakistan.

However, he said India’s trade with Afghanistan through Dubai continued.

After taking control of the capital Kabul on August 15, the Taliban thanked India for its role in rebuilding their country and expressed interest in continuing India’s participation in development activities. At the same time, however, the Taliban warned New Delhi of any military ambitions in Afghanistan.
