Anwar Galvanizing approved expansion plan
The board of directors of Anwar Galvanizing, a listed engineering company, has approved a plan to increase production by 2,417 metric tonnes per annum. This information has been known from DSE sources.
It is learned that the company will have to invest an additional Tk 2.73 crore to increase production. It has received approval from DESCO for the supply of 1 MW power, which will help in the expansion work.
The new expansion project will be financed by a combination of the company’s own assets and borrowed funds. The project will be launched from the fourth quarter of 2022.
When the expansion is completed, the company will have a production capacity of 4,725 metric tons per year. The extra amount produced will directly replace the imported products.
