Women entrepreneurs will get low interest loans

The central bank has directed to reduce interest rates to provide loans to women entrepreneurs in small and medium enterprises at the desired level. In case of lending under refinancing scheme, the interest or profit rate has been fixed at 0.5% at the level of banks and financial institutions and maximum 5% at the level of customers.

On Wednesday (August 4), the SME and Special Programs Division of Bangladesh Bank issued a circular in this regard and sent it to the chief executive of all scheduled banks.
