Launch of ‘Sadai’ mobile app for selling agricultural products

The mobile app ‘Sadai’ has been launched. On Wednesday (August 4) morning, the Minister of Agriculture. Md. Abdur Razzak MP inaugurated the app in the conference room of the ministry at the secretariat. The ‘always’ app is being implemented by the Department of Agricultural Marketing. The Ministry of Agriculture is in overall cooperation.

The minister said the ‘always’ app is a landmark step in the sale of agricultural products. If this app is successfully implemented, it will work to ensure fair price to the farmers of the country, reduction of violence of middlemen, and quality assurance of agricultural products. At the same time, the app will play a helpful role in ensuring that consumers do not get cheated, cheated and get safe and adulterated products.

The Agriculture Minister further said that the production of all agricultural commodities including paddy, wheat, maize, vegetables, fruits has multiplied in the country and there has been a surprising success in production. The biggest challenge now is the marketing of these agricultural products. Farmers often cannot market the products they produce, they do not get the right price. In addition to ensuring a fair price for the crops produced by the farmers, the consumers should also be assured to buy safe and adulterated products at the right price. The ‘always’ app will work for this purpose.
