Bank will lend Tk 28,391 crore to farmers

To increase agricultural production, Bangladesh Bank has set a target of disbursing Tk 28,391 crore in the current fiscal year 2021-2022, which is about 8 percent more than the previous fiscal year 2020-21. The central bank had set a target of disbursing Tk 26,292 crore in that financial year.

On Thursday (July 29), the Agricultural Credit Division of Bangladesh Bank announced ‘Annual Agriculture and Rural Credit Policies and Programs with a target for disbursement of loans’.
