Industrialists wants keeping export oriented industries open
The Cabinet Division has issued a circular instructing to close all types of industries for the next 14 days from July 23 to prevent the outbreak of epidemic corona. However, the export-oriented industrialists want to continue working after Eid in the same way as the factories were open during the current restrictions. They think the government’s decision will create a deep crisis in the export-oriented industry. Therefore, they have demanded to consider keeping the export-oriented industries open even in the coming severe lockdown.
The ongoing restrictions have been relaxed for eight days from today ahead of the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. However, the government has announced strict restrictions for 14 days from the day after the Eid holiday, which will start at 6 am on July 23 and will continue till 12 noon on August 5. In case of strict restrictions, 23 conditions have been given. It is said that all kinds of industries will be closed. All government, semi-government, autonomous and private offices will also be closed.
