A record amount of dividend has been declared for the Shanta First Income Unit Fund unit holders in the financial year 2020-2021. The trustee of the fund has declared a dividend of 20.50% for the period. It's total cash.

The fund's trustee committee meeting on Wednesday decided to pay the dividend after reviewing the audited financial results for the fiscal year 2020-2021, which ended on June 30. Those who had the fund unit in their hands on June 30, 2021 will receive the dividend. The unit's earnings per unit (EPU) at the time in question was Tk 2.88.

According to a press release from the company, the research and fund management skills are reflected in the fund's performance in the 2020-2021 financial year. After the first lockdown in 2020, the fund has been able to recover V-shape in the capital market and has achieved 62.5% profit for investors in the recently ended fiscal year.
