For the first time, the Commerce Ministry has allowed five companies to export a total of 10 million square feet of wet-blue leather by 2 million square feet.
In a letter to the Chief Controller of the Import and Export Regulatory Office of the Ministry of Commerce (Export-1 Branch) on Saturday (July 10), these companies were allowed to export wet-blue leather.
ASK Investment, Messrs. Quader Leather Complex, Amin Tannery Ltd., Leather Industries of Bangladesh Ltd. (Unit-2) and Kalam Brothers have been allowed to export a total of 10 million square feet of wet-blue leather in this 2 million square feet.
The conditions under which wet-blue leather is allowed to be exported
Export policy 2018-21 must be followed; This permission will only apply to a specified amount of Wet Blue leather permitted for export. Will have to re-apply for subsequent exports.
