Bengal Commercial Bank and SME Foundation signed an agreement
The Bengal Commercial Bank and the SME Foundation have signed an agreement to disburse loans under the Prime Minister’s Incentive Package for Small, Cottage and Medium (CMSME) Entrepreneurs Affected in Corona.
The bank’s managing director and chief executive Tariq Morshed and SME Foundation managing director Dr. at the head office of Bengal Commercial Bank in the capital’s Gulshan on Monday. Md. Mofizur Rahman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
The SME Foundation has allocated a portion of this incentive package for Bengal Commercial Bank under the SME Foundation’s ‘Credit Wholesale Program’. According to the agreement, CMSME entrepreneurs affected by the tax will be able to take loans at four per cent profit.
Adviser of Bengal Commercial Bank Shahid Hossain, DMD KM Awlad Hossain, Head of Retail and SME Banking Division Navera Alam, General Manager of SME Foundation Md. Nazim Hasan Sattar and Md. Sirajul Haider NDC was present.
