Beneficiary Owners (BO) account holders who transact through the mobile app in the capital market will have to pay a service charge of Rs 100 per month. This charge has been imposed from the first day of the new financial year i.e. from 1st July.
The board of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), the country's main capital market, has taken this decision.
Confirming the matter, DSE Chief Operating Officer (COO) Saifur Rahman Majumder said, "The DSE board has decided to charge a registration fee of Rs 100 per month to all investors who have registered to transact through the mobile app." Because BOX has to pay a fee of one hundred rupees per fluxtrade. That money will be taken from investors from now on.
At present there are 26 lakh Biodharis in the country. Among them, 63,000 investors are involved in the DSE mobile app. Among them are 25,000 investors who actively trade through mobile apps.
There are three versions of the DSE mobile app. One is for broker houses, the other two are for general investors. With one of which shares can be traded. With the other only the status of the transaction can be seen. The mobile app was launched on March 9, 2016 to make it easier for investors to trade shares.
