The government is constructing a total of 560 model mosques and Islamic cultural centers in each district and upazila to spread Islam and make the mosque a center for learning. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has inaugurated 50 model mosques and cultural centers constructed in the first phase of the project.

The officials involved in the project said that the construction of so many mosques at the same time is rare in the world. On Thursday (June 10), the Prime Minister inaugurated these model mosques and cultural centers built in the first phase together in a video conference from Ganobhaban.

Not only prayers, the mosque will be a center for research, Islamic culture and knowledge. The government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is constructing these beautiful model mosques and Islamic cultural centers with the lost tradition of lost Islam.

Inaugurating the model mosques built in the first phase, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, "I am really happy today. The correct message of Islam will be spread from the model mosques, the correct message of Islam will be spread. The correct knowledge of Islam will be practiced. Muslims will move forward again in the practice of knowledge science.

In a video conference from the Osmani Memorial Auditorium in the capital, Minister of Religion Faridul Haque Khan said this is the first time in the history of the Muslim world that the head of government of a Muslim country is building 560 mosques together. Never before has a Muslim ruler or head of government built so many mosques together. This is a unique and groundbreaking event we will say.

On behalf of the country, the Minister of State for Religion thanked Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for taking the groundbreaking initiative to build so many mosques at once.
