In the proposed budget for the financial year 2021-22, it has been proposed to allocate Tk 32,247 crore in the health and family planning sector. The allocation in the field of health and family planning is proposed on the basis of priority given to the measures taken against Corona (Covid-19).

In the proposed budget of the last financial year, the allocation for this sector was 29 thousand 247 crores. In terms of money, it is proposed to allocate more than Tk 3,484 crore in the health sector in the proposed budget as compared to the last financial year.

Today, Thursday (June 3), Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal presented the proposed budget of Tk 6,861 crore in Parliament.

In this year's proposed budget, the amount allocated for health and family planning is 5.4 percent.

In the proposed budget of the last financial year, the allocation for this sector was Tk 29,247 crore. As a percentage which was five point two percent.
