BSEC will investigate all aspects of Fu-Wang Food

The regulatory body Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) has decided to investigate the overall activities of Fu-Wang Food Limited, a listed food and ancillary sector company. A two-member committee has been formed for this. The committee has been asked to submit a report within the next 15 working days. This information has been known from the relevant sources.

According to sources, the two-member committee includes BSEC Assistant Director. Sirajul Islam and DSE Senior Manager Abdul Quader ACCA. The committee has been asked to look into four issues. The first is the current operational status of the company, the second is the status of all types of fixed assets and all the lands that have been purchased since the listing. The third issue is the status of the company’s financial statements for the last three years and the fourth is all kinds of issues related to the company.
