More than 300 workers at a cleaning company in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, are living inhumane lives. They are in power, water and food crisis with five months salary arrears.

The aggrieved workers of this organization called Bainona General Cleaning Company in the Mafrak industrial area of ​​Abu Dhabi have already approached the local administration. The case filed by the workers against the company is under process.

“We have been working for this company for 10 to 12 years,” said Delwar, a worker at Bainona General Cleaning Company. The first two years everything was fine. Since then he has been keeping salary arrears at various times. Last five months salary arrears. No food, no electricity and no water. The company is not even inquiring about us. We have lodged these complaints with the local police administration.

Worker Masudur Rahman said food aid was provided by the local Red Crescent last Ramadan. However, they are now helpless due to arrears of salary for a long time.
